With the pressure 2800 bar and thanks to the special instrumentation, water can cut plates and other steel structures. Projects like this are rather rarely conducted – predominantly in chemical industry or refinery industry i.e. to cut holes in containers to connect new pipelines or to connect fuel or gas pipelines. Hydrodynamic cut of steel, due to lack of sparks during the work, is used in explosive atmosphere.
